Nothing to Shout About....

Norwalk Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've had wind and rough waters for the past few weeks, and we've been forced to stay close to the shore line, where we've gotten some small sea bass, and tons of sea robins. It's been very frustrating.

Anglers fishing in the Connecticut River have been doing much better with nice catches of large bluefish and hefty striped bass. For some reason these fish haven't yet hit our local waters, but we're not giving up hope of finding them.

We'll be pulling our boat out of the marina on October 23 and getting her ready for winter storage, then we'll be heading South to Sebastian FL on the 28th. Hopefully, conditions there will be better, but one never knows from one week to another.
