Switching gears to Sweetwater Gator Hunting and Bass Fishing

Capt. Brady Nelson
August 27, 2012
Anna Maria - Freshwater Fishing Report

Bass are biting well on Lake Istapoka. While over to the lake for gator hunting we are catching bass up to 8 lbs. fishing with spinnerbaits in and around the lilly pads and bull rushes, but the real prize was a 10'3" bull alligator.

We killed the beast on a public hunt following the state guidelines, not an easy task.
