Tarpon are on the way

Capt. Brady Nelson
April 30, 2012
Anna Maria - Saltwater Fishing Report

INSHORE:
The possibilities have been endless lately. The bite inshore is definitely going well with limits of trout, some days 50 - 70 not uncommon. Red fish are a daily event and lots more snook on the flats than last year. We have been seeing some nice schools of snook over a hundred in one area. A lot of these fish are over 30", a real good thing. Treat your snook with care and we will have another great snook fishery soon. Some tarpon are at the bridges and a few on the beaches and I suspect it to be in full swing by next week. The crabs are flushing out so bring it on.http://www.bassnbaycharters.com/joomla/

Some tuna have been caught and seen running with the bonita as well as I seen a Marlin last week in 40' of water. Goliath grouper are eating it all off the hook if you dont reel in your catch in a hurry.Click to Enlarge Photo" target="_blank" title="http://www.bassnbaycharters.com/joomla/Click to Enlarge Photo">http://www.bassnbaycharters.com/joomla/Click to Enlarge Photo
