Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

Oh how I live for this time of year.

I just love it. Cool temps and hot fishing.

Especially if you like big fat Trout.

And I do. And my customers love catching them too.

Along with lots of Redfish, some Black Drum, Flounder and Sheepshead.

B-U-T, we have to work between the weather.

Last week I had Don and Louis out on the Jettywolf. Day one was absolutely BEAUTIFUL.
No wind, no clouds, and in the high seventy's.

But, our second day as a front approached was cooler, windier, and over cast.

The fish continued to bite, but we still had to find them and change from bottom fishing to float-rigging.

The inlet was nasty as a SW wind blew 20+ knots. But after a nice Drum, we left the inlet and headed back to Trout Land.
And the bite continued with Doug and Cheryl later in the week.

Husband and wife dynamic duo!

I know it's HOLIDAY time. But it's also INSHORE light tackle time in Jacksonville Florida!
