TAKE A FISHING VACATION:

Capt. Dave Sipler
August 16, 2013
Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

In the summer it's pretty much all families on vacation from other places.

They're usually staying at the beach. (is there anywhere else you should stay? NOPE)

Because the BEACH, is where it's at in N.E. Florida.

They get up each morning and see that sand, water and the boats running outside the surf looking for bait, the small shrimp boats trawling for Florida's finest.

And that's when I get the calls....

But, you don't have to wait till you actually get here. You can, reserve your day before you ever leave home, too.

Dining and sitting around the pool or on the hot sand can only take you so far.

You need to get out there. Experience the water by BOAT!

And I have a nice early morning, done by noon, fishing trip, aboard a very well equipped boat for you.

Be it my KIDS TRIPS for the little ones, (usually 5-10 years old, up to 4 persons)

Or we can have everyone aboard totally immersed in the action!

Here's an example for you.

Inshore fishing the St. Johns River, and estuaries around Jacksonville, Florida provides year round opportunities for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead to name just a few. Plus, seasonal favorites such as Shark, Tripletail and Pompano. The legendary Mayport Jetties are mile long piles of huge granite boulders that protect the inlet to the St. Johns River from the Atlantic Ocean. Around these jetties is some of the best and most consistent fishing.
