Jacksonville - Saltwater Fishing Report

FROM FREEZIN TO PERFECTION, AND RECORD SETTING PERSONAL BEST.
It's been a great week.
Fished on a 27 degree morning, and slayed the smaller Specks in the backwater, then caught what we were looking for at the jetties, (inlet).

Bigger! Bigger! Bigger....Specks.

Then, went right back out the next day and concentrated on a big Speck spot exclusively, and had limits in minutes, of 18-20 inchers.(the weather keeps getting better and better)

Then, left out late to catch the tide on a solo trip, and was foggy and also good and warm, with ZERO wind.
Caught my Speck limit easily on one spot 18-22" fish.

Then broke my record on a Float-rigged Redbass.

22 pounds, up on the jetty. An epic light tackle battle amongst the jagged rocks.
Prior largest Red on the float-rig was 18 pounds, several years ago.
It was a perfect day, absolutely perfect.
