Cold weather keeping the fishing down right now....

Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

We went out a few days ago with Jack Balme and Rick Pino, our local fishing buddies and good friends. The temperature was 58 degrees when we left the dock, so we moved toward the backwaters around the mangroves, in pursuit of redfish. We managed to bring in a few reds, but all were short. We then made our way towards the Sebastian Inlet and found some bluefish.

All in all, it was a slow day, and the temps have continued to drop here on a dairly basis--with some nights having wind chills in the 20's.

It's supposed to warm up in a few days, and fishing conditions should improve if that trend continues.
