Good-bye, Florida; Hello, Connecticut!

Capt. Sal Tardella

Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well, we wrapped up our winter season last Sunday–with our best fishing friends, Jack Balme and Rick Pino–both Sebastian locals. All of us got into very large jacks, and some bluefish and ladyfish.

Our Florida boat is now out of the water until next December.

We hope to have the Norwalk "My Bonnie" launched and ready to go by May 10 at the latest. Reports have been coming in that striped bass are in the vicinity, and by the time we're in the water we presume L.I. Sound should be heating up and attracting the springtime regulars.

It's been a long, dry winter down here, and I'm itching to start some serious fishing back in Connecticut.

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle fishing in Long Island Sound May through November. Targeting striped bass, bluefish, porgies, fluke. 25-foot C-Hawk customized sportsfisherman with fully-enclosed pilot house. Fishing in Florida December through early April. For Sebastian fishing information, please see FLORIDA FISHING page at: www.mybonniecharters.com
