Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report
We had a couple of trips last week, including one on Saturday, February 19. Aboard were my son and his wife, visiting from West Haven CT. The weather was perfect, and we all enjoyed catching unlimited ladyfish, several bluefish, a small grouper and one trout in the Indian River. We then moved to the Sebastian River, where our guests were delighted to see manatees, dolphins, and all manner of birds as we caught more ladyfish and a few nice cats among the mangroves. All the fish were released.
We've finally had some sustained warmer temps, and the fishing is definitely heating up after a long winter's blight. We're hoping the rest of our Florida season will be as productive as this week's ventures.
