Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

It was yet another windy day for Rick Pino and me...but we fished the Indian River oyster beds, where we found some trout, jacks and ladyfish. Then on the flats off the Sebastian Inlet, we pulled in more of the same species. Looking for some other kind of action, and hoping to get away from the high winds, we wended our way across the Indian River to the North Fork of the Sebastian River, where the waters were a bit more angler-friendly. It was worth the trip; we found lots of fish, including a jack crevalle weighing more than 8 pounds. (Rick is featured holding the largest fish in the www.mybonniecharters.com Photo of the Week.)
The water temps have been holding at 70 degrees and higher, which is ideal, but the winds have been impeding our progress for the past several days. We're looking forward to calmer conditions and even bigger fish over the next few weeks.
Target Species:

Pompano, snapper, sea trout, silver trout, jacks and more....
