Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report
Wednesday morning started out with deep fog covering the water, and I had to start our trip relying upon my GPS to navigate. Aboard were Gary Zell of Michigan and Don Gary of Wilton CT–both snowbirds with winter homes in Vero Beach FL. We brought in some small trout and ladyfish before the weather cleared, and we then made our way towards the Sebastian Inlet and fished the nearby flats, where we found loads of larger ladyfish. We picked up some pinfish and kept them in our baitwell as continued toward the mouth of the Inlet, where we drifted for bluefish, and caught a nice group up to 4 lbs. We then entered the Inlet and drifted the live bait which attracted jack crevelles up to 15 lbs.
Gary and Don got a bit arm weary, so we returned to the flats, where they got a 19" pompano.
