Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

Saturday was a sunny day, with light winds and over-all good conditions. Aboard "My Bonnie" were Marty Ahrendt, visiting from Chicago, and his brother, Mitchell–-a Melborne resident, and Marty's two nephews-–Nick and Gabe. We began fishing some islands in the Intracoastal and did well with sea trout--boating ten--after which we went looking for other species and made our way into the Sebastian Inlet, where everyone enjoyed bringing in bluefish for more than two hours-–plus some sea bass and a lizard fish–-all of which were released.
We had two other excursions earlier in the week-–with our local buddies, Jack Balme and Rick Pino–-and our guest from Danbury, Amin Emilio Pandolfi--during which we caught about three dozen bluefish, trout up to 18″, and a small redfish.
