Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

There hasn't been too much to report because we've been very busy restoring our neighbor's dock so that our boat can be secured and accessible. The Ferndale Lodge, where we stay every year, had its dock destroyed by the four hurricanes that hit Sebastian with great ferocity, just about ripping apart every dock along the Indian River.
We have managed to fish three or four times this month, and on each trip we brought in bluefish, jack crevelles, ladyfish, redfish, pompano, and loads of sea trout plus several unexpectedly-large silver trout, as well.
The water has been quite cold for the past two-three weeks, but the temps have been rising and the winds settling down a bit, creating more desirable fishing conditions for our area.
