Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report
The fishing remains so-so, especially in the morning, with the local temperatures dropping to the high 30's and low 40's at night.
Today we fished with Joe Wajda of Cape May, New Jersey, and two of his friends. The threesome didn't want to fish in the afternoon, so we sailed at 7:30am with the thermometer reading 43 degrees. Needless to say, they were shivering throughout the trip, but they managed to bring in a half dozen trout up to 20" and some ladyfish, some on live shrimp, but most on Berkley Gulp rubber shrimp.
Last week Roger Mann and Emily Cowgill of Seattle enjoyed an afternoon on the Indian River, bringing in several fish--including two huge silver trout, five look-downs, and seven sea trout.
Tomorrow we'll try again with our friend, Dr. Joseph Deltito, visiting from Norwalk CT.
