Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report
Not too much is happening down here...lots of windy days, and the temperature dropped radically this morning, necessitating the wearing of long-sleeved shirts and an upward flick on our house thermistat.
We managed to get in a trip last week with Rick Pino. We headed towards the Sebastian Inlet after catching some bait--in pursuit of some snook before the closing of the season--but conditions weren't too good, with the arrival of a cold front, accompanied by high winds. We moved into the Indian River, looking for pompano and sea trout, and there wasn't much action at the beginning of our pursuit. However, after a couple of hours, we found loads of trout and ladyfish and a couple of blues; and we finished the day with an 18-inch pompano.
