Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

Last weekend we fished the Indian River, concentrating on the south side, close to the Wabasso bridge. It was a wet and windy day, but we did very well with sea trout, boating close to three dozen--all of which were released. I also caught a redfish, using a motor-oil Sparkling Beetle. As a surprise bonus, we got a large sail catfish, weighing in at close to five pounds.
Water temps were just 63 degrees, and it's been fairly cool for the past week.
We've had reports from fellow anglers that the Sebastian River is holding a lot of ladyfish, which are a lot of fun to hook on light tackle.
