Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report
Although the winds were blowing most of the day, Rick Pino and I had fun with some sea trout and ladyfish in the Indian River. We then rigged our rods with live pigfish and motored into the mouth of the Sebastian Inlet, drifting near some pilings. The tide was rushing, and we couldn't stay very long in one spot. We brought in a 13-pound grouper and then hooked into two fish that we never saw, as they stole the bait before breaking the surface. The water was getting very rough as the outgoing tides combined with high winds to make for very choppy conditions, so we gathered up our gear and headed home. There were enough grouper filets for four meals for two, so we had no complaints at the end of the day.
