Still pretty ho-hum; winds continue to prevail.

Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

On our last several trips we brought in jack crevelles, bluefish, ladyfish, trout and some sail catfish as well as a small grouper. We've fished the Indian River, the Sebastian Inlet, the Sebastian River, and spent an hour or so on the ocean, fighting heavy swells.

We've had visitors from MI, MA, NY, CT, and VA in February and March, and they've all been happy to be out of the cold weather and bringing in all varieties of our local species.

The sea grass that has disappeared between Mosquito Lagoon and Fort Pierce has still not returned, even though eco-scientists have been studying the problem for more than four years. This has been especially hurting the trout population, but all the local fish have been negatively affected.
