Stick Marsh-Farm 13 - Freshwater Fishing Report

Submitted by George, Imagination Bassin Guide Services
Date Fished: 4/29/03
Water Temperature: 77
Water Clarity: 2-3 feet
The fish are still hanging in out in the middle of the Marsh, and we did spend a short time their finding fish using weightless Senkos. However, the real story is on the Farm, which is where we spent most of the morning.
Heading out at first light we checked the SW area and found fish along the first ditch using Senkos. We did try top water, but we could only coax a couple of hits with them.
We then headed over to check the spillway and although the water flow has been increased we didn't find much in the way of cooperative bass.
Coming out of the spillway we starting working the hydrilla bank that is on the south end, and as it has been for the last couple of weeks, the top water bite was on. No lunkers on this exploratory trip but lots of fish that would make any tournament fisherman jealous. 35 to 40 bass in a 1/2 day makes for some fun fishing..
See you on the water.
