Summer on the Marsh - The heat is on but the fishing remains much the same as it has for the bulk of the summer. The bass are being located along the old submerged irrigation ditches of Farm 13 with the occasional bass being found on the Marsh.

Hot on the Marsh - Things are a bit warm right now here in the sunny south. Temperatures in the low 90's and no breezes make for hot day on the Marsh/Farm but that doesn't stop the avid fisherman from taking a shot at the big bass this lake is famous for.

Hot but worth it - Things are doing well on the Marsh despite the early blast of heat that we are getting. Mid-day temperatures are hitting the mid-90s. The bass are scattered but perseverance can get you some nice fish. Both reports below come from regulars that fish more...

Summer good times are here - Water levels have returned to normal as rains continue to fall here at the Stick Marsh/Farm 13. Water flow structures have been active. Heavy afternoon storms have brought water levels up 3-3.5 feet in the last two weeks.

Conditions are improving - The day dawned with winds almost non-existent. Meeting Karen and Joe at the ramp at 6:30 we immediately headed for the NW area of the Marsh. The Marsh is at the lowest level that I have seen since 2001 and it is prudent to idle anywhere on this side. more...
