Spring closeout

Stick Marsh-Farm 13 - Freshwater Fishing Report

I have been away for a couple of weeks in May so I missed some really good fishing.

The days I was out yielded some very impressive catches with most fish coming from the south end of Farm 13. Bait of choice was still the Swimming Senko in dark colors with some being caught on top water with the Storm Chug Bug.

On the Stick Marsh side we had an impressive bite going in the SW area, with both rattle traps and Swimming Senkos producing.

Stick Marsh-Farm 13 Fishing Forecast:

June should prove to be an outstanding month as the fish migrate to summer stomping grounds. Still check the spawning areas as bass come and go looking for easy pickings, but plan on working outside areas and along the ditches of the Farm for most of your fish.

Baits to be working would include small cranks, and plastics T-rigged and C-rigged. Be sure to check for moving water.

Target Species:

LM Bass
