Couple from Texas hook 9 bonefish in one day! - All i can say is 'Wow'! Melissa and Waylan Holmes were on fire, yesterday! Yet hooked 9 bonefish from 1-10 lbs with 3 in the 10 lb range.

Spring time Hawaii Bonefishing in Full Swing - Last week i had the pleasure to fish with a couple of very interesting flyfisherman. Winds subside and Bonefishing improves - After weeks of heavy wind, finally conditions improve enough to get out. Tides were also much better and many tailing bonefish could be found.

Very Windy and super low tides - This past week was as tough as it gets for bonefishing around Oahu. the combination of 20-30 knot wind and negative low tides thoughout much of the day lead to cancellations and nearly impossible conditions. Tsunami warnings, wind, rain and tailers - the theme of last week was cancellations. It started last weekend with a tsunami warning [the first one in years for hawaii] that turned into a complete dud.
