Coromandel - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hi All
We've just finished a couple of awesome weeks of fishing here in New Zealand. Most of the time our clients were pulled up against the side of the boat like this!

Kingi's around the 25kg mark were common, and these are hard fighting fish that will do everything to dust you on the reef below. We're jigging with 400gm blue spear jigs and purple sliders from Zest.

All the big kingi's are photo'd and released to fight another day.

The snapper have been in good condition, holding in 10-20m of water, perfect for casting GULP Pogys to, with nice fish in the 10-20 pound range. Great fishing fish in the shallows!

It doesn't get too much better than a nice line of hard fighting snapper coming to the boat, and the action has been non-stop!

If you're keen to come and have a crack at fishing for kings and snapper in New Zealand then get in touch with me at [email protected] or check out our site http://www.epicadventures.co.nz
All the best
Carl
