James Blakeney and Carlton Johnson from Lafayette joined me today for a incredible day of trout slammin. Our first stop produced ZERO, so we hauled A__ to our second and final stop. It did not take long at all before we had 16-21 1/2 inch trout coming in the boat. Clayton took top honors with several fish going 19 - 21 1/2 inches. Every fish caught tight-lining LSU Chubs and Tsunami swim baits slow on the bottom. Out of our 75 fish we only had 10 fish or less in the 13-15 inch range. We also had 8 reds hit the deck, which all were released to fight another day. My crew wanted nothing to du with the reds!!! It sure was a lot of fun with these guys, as they joked and cut up all day long. Thanks guys for one awesome day on the water. Special thanks to Capt. Bill for putting the trip together.

I still have tomorrow open if anyone wants to get in on this incredible action.
