Dularge trout bite remains on FIRE!! Scott, Bill Yerby, Mike Hempen, and *beep* Hall joined me for a incredible trout slam today. As soon as we cut the engine we had the yellow-mouths coming in the boat from every direction. By 7:00 our count was over 60. We had a little lull for about a hour just picking at them, then it was on again. We would hit schools slinging them in two at a time. # 125 hit the ice right before 10:00 am. Every-fish caught on none other than tandem rigged bayou chubs. I just can't understand why I see people still sitting around chunking LIVE BAIT. To each is own I guess!! Anyways, we caught some really nice fish today and it was sure fun fishing with these guys. Thanks for a great time.
Catching limits every-day the past two weeks on plastics. Give me a call if you would like to experience a trip like this. I have Tue-Thur open next week.
