Great Kids Tampa Bay - With bait continuing to be a challenge I started throwing the net by 530 am! Again bridges, grass flats and piers were void of nice size white baits. There must be 100 million small threadfins dimpling local waters with very few fishable.

Summer Slam Tampa Bay - At 5 am it was already plenty warm so today's goal was to fish early and be off the water noon. Baits been a challenge of late so I opted to sabiki threadfins from a nearby bridge. The baits were very large perfect for cut bait.

Mangrove snapper action on the rise in Sarasota - Fishing continued to be very good this week. Speckled trout are abundant on the deep grass flats near Siesta Key.
