spring is sprung finally - With the water temps starting to climb the fish are starting to chew a little better. During my last trip we found the norm for this time of year sheepshead, black drum and rat reds but a nice surprise was several beautiful trout 20 to 22 inch fish. more...

Spring Is Here! - Okay- It's official, Spring has finally arrived. There are Spring Break kids all up and down 30-A and some of 'em are even swimming in the ( 60 degree) Gulf ! While it's rough again now, we actually had 4 beautiful, sunny, calm days in row !

Destin Redfish and Speckled Trout - The water temps are consistently in the upper 50s now and we even found a couple spots where it has been in the low 60s. We were able to fish the entire trip yesterday with artificial lures, primarily gulp baits but also a few mirrolure swimbaits. more...
