Great Ending - Aug 25th, 2011
The new Double D has arrived but before we let go of the old Double D, she still had lots of luck in her and we did really good on our past few trips. We did a few more trips on the edge and were lucky enough to catch a few more sa more...

Summertime Variety Fishing - Summertime offers a good variety on a wide range of fish that include sailfish, kingfish, dolphin, bonito, amberjack, barracuda, and mutton snapper. Many anglers say that they'd just as soon not fish during the summer. That's a big mistake as they' more...

A little bit of this and a little bit of that - The fishing on the reef and wrecks has been very consistent with good catches of Amber Jacks on the wrecks and Yellowtail and Mangrove Snappers on the reef. I also continue to have good success trolling for Black fin Tuna in the evenings.

Hangin In There - Things have been a little bit quiet since my last report. I have been fishing but just not as much as I am used to. We did a few dolphin trips in the Gulfstream and the dolphin fishing this year has been very poor especially for bigger fish. Most more...

Miami/Miami Beach - Pick Your Style, The Action Is Good - Time has flown by since my last report. The good news for dolphin (mahi-mahi) anglers is that they have finally shown up in good numbers off the coast of Miami. Where you'll find them on any given day could vary from 800 feet out to 15 miles or mor more...

SUMMERTIME FISHING ON THE GET EM WITH CAPT. ALAN SHERMAN - South Florida's fishing has been as unpredictable as the weather. This makes planning a fishing outing very difficult. For months we were in a terrible drought that was great for the freshwater fishing but not so good for the snook fishing.
