Macks are back in Sarasota! - Recent daily afternoon rain showers have resulted in a water temperature drop of nearly ten degree, and the fish REALLY like it! Action has been virtually non-stop using pilchards on the flats at the north end of Siesta Key and Bird Key.

Excellent speckled trout action in Sarasota! - The Perkins, newlyweds from Brownsburg, IN went out fishing with me early in the week. Speckled trout, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, jacks and ladyfish were caught on live shrimp at Marker # 5 and the Bird Key flats.
