!st 50 of the year landed aboard Kingfisher - Big stripers have moved into the area along with some large blue's. The stocking truck finally arrived - I went out by myself on Wednesday morning to see if I could find any signs of life. My first cast netted a 12 lb. bluefish. That was followed by a steady pick of 8 - 12 lb. stripers which lasted for several hours. I picked up another big bluefish and more...

Blues are the name of the game this week... - The headline for the whole week has been lots of small blues on the Long Island side of the Sound. We also had some keeper fluke and schoolie bass, but it was bluefish that kept our passengers busy.
