Week in review - Monday afternoon's trip saw Jim and his crew land numerous blue's in the 10 lb. class trolling parachutes around Race Rock to go with a couple stripers.

The stocking truck finally arrived - I went out by myself on Wednesday morning to see if I could find any signs of life. My first cast netted a 12 lb. bluefish. Shad & Big Stripers - Alan Wolhstrom and crew continued their yearly BIG fish bonanza on Friday 7/02. Shad were biting until the sun brightened, then shut off completely. Blues are the name of the game this week... - The headline for the whole week has been lots of small blues on the Long Island side of the Sound. We also had some keeper fluke and schoolie bass, but it was bluefish that kept our passengers busy.
