Final Countdown for the Season... -
On our last trip we got lots of porgies, sea bass, bluefish and an unfamiliar cod-like fish, which turned out to be a hake. Bluefish are larger and more plentiful, and the weather's been great if you don't mind windy conditions.

Nothing to Shout About.... - We've had wind and rough waters for the past few weeks, and we've been forced to stay close to the shore line, where we've gotten some small sea bass, and tons of sea robins. It's been very frustrating.

Bluefish and Stripers - Bluefish from 5-18lbs have been feeding aggressively and providing fast and furious action. Some Striped Bass have been mixing in. Larger fish have been taking live bunker. Bottom fishing is a mix of Sea Bass and Porgies. We have openings on Sept. 10 more...

Porgies, Sea Bass Best Bet These Days - We went out several times since our last report. All the folks on our charters brought in loads of porgies and many sea bass. We had some rough days with folks getting a bit seasick due to bumpy water, but we didn't have to abort any of the trips.
