Hot September Makes for Cold fishing - September has been the hottest month I can remember in 14 years of fishing Tampa Bay. Water temperature is still in the high 80's and the fishing has been so-so.
When it has been dead flat calm, the heat has been nearly unbearable in my open skiff.

Fall Fishing - It seems that we are in full swing of fall. Lots of bait around and hot fishing one day followed by slow the next.
