No report this week; weather uncooperative. - It's been windy and rainy when we had the opportunity to fish and fair weather only when we couldn't get out for various reasons.

Still dealing with winds and rain... - We've had tornado watches and lots of rain down here, with very few days being free of windy conditions.

Ho-hum days.... - We've had days with rain, days with wind, and days with wind and rain. But we got out on the Indian River for a few hours last week--bringing in sea trout and a selection of other local species, including jacks and ladyfish.

Things seem to be picking up.... - We went out on the Indian River a few days ago with our local fishing buddy, Rick Pino. Along with several large sail catfish, we caught pompano up to 18″, sheepshead, ladyfish and more than 20 sea trout, with a half dozen keepers in the lot; more...

Back in the water again.... - We had some work to do on the Florida boat since arriving in Sebastian November 15, but it was finally launched yesterday, and we'll be doing some scouting today with one of our local fishing buddies.

Warmer weather, better fishing.... - We fished only twice over the past two weeks. The Indian River hasn't been productive except for some ladyfish. But the Sebastian Inlet has been holding bluefish and large jack crevelles, along with an occasional Spanish Mackerel.
