Some places that were water now became land
Too much grass also gave casting some trouble
But Snook started hitting and burst that bubble
Nothing over 30 inches though a few were close

Snooking - The past few days have lights out
Lots of Snook is what I'm talking about
Today for example we landed over 30 fish
One feels like we have been granted a wish
The action should continue like this

At first the fish would strike but often miss
As the day wore on though reels were screaming

Fort Myers fishing report- Fishing has been great - The Trout, Ladyfish, and Jacks have been very active the last few days. The Fish seem to have acclimated to the winter water temperatures. Fort Myers Fishing Report - Red Tide Is Gone - Good news for now, it appears that the red tide bloom has finally dissipated. Thanks in part to the falling water temps and favorable winds. A tarpon made two jumps before saying goodbye
Their magnificent jumps just make one sigh
The action is hot with lures not bait
Charter out today...We just can't wait

Despite red tide being in the area fishing is pretty darn good and impacts have been minimal. I have been fishing in Pine Island Sound, Matlacha and North side of Charlotte Harbor. I've seen minimal dead fish more... Capt. Jim Conant - Matlacha
