Downtime with Fay - Tropical storm Fay skirted East of Tampa Bay area but has managed to cause enough of a disruption to cancel trips and keep most everyone in port. The busy fall fishing season is just around the corner so I took the time to catch up on periodic mainte more...

Hot, Wet, and Windy - Wet weather, high winds, and thunderstorms continue to make summer fishing on Tampa Bay an iffy proposition. I got my skiff off the lift on Monday with light winds, but the water clarity was poor. It wasn't tea colored; it looked more like espresso. more...
