Lots of SCALLOPS and red fish in Hernando Beach! - The water clarity finally cleared up in this area of the nature coast which made for some better fishing and scalloping conditions. The cleaner water combined with some good morning high tides should make for some great back country action.

Great Kids Tampa Bay - With bait continuing to be a challenge I started throwing the net by 530 am! Again bridges, grass flats and piers were void of nice size white baits. There must be 100 million small threadfins dimpling local waters with very few fishable.

Redfish Sharks and Trout Tampa Bay - After days of heavy rains it was great to be back fishing. Before picking up my clients I ran to several local piers and bridges looking for bait. If white baits were around I could not find them.

Summer Slam Tampa Bay - At 5 am it was already plenty warm so today's goal was to fish early and be off the water noon. Baits been a challenge of late so I opted to sabiki threadfins from a nearby bridge. The baits were very large perfect for cut bait.
