Grouper at the snapper hole - I took a father and son out to the snapper hole. It has been tough finding days that are calm enough to fish. The Bite is on in South Florida! - If your waiting for someone to call you and tell you now is the time to get yourself out on the water then that is what I am telling you now! The fishing has been great. Not every trip but almost every trip.

Despite the red tide along the outside of Sanibel fishing is still hot here in Matlacha and Pine Island sound. Redfish have been biting on live and cut bait on the incoming tide, trout on any moving water. Snapper bite is OK a lot of sma more... Capt. Jim Conant - Matlacha
