Inshore/nearshore report Jacksonville area waters - People on shore are sweltering in 95-100 degree heat, while we fishermen ply our trade atop 76 degree water. That's as close as you can get to outdoor air conditioning in Florida.

Hot Summer....go deep and big, or don't go. - It's that time of year on the St. Johns River and inlet where ya cannot fish a single shrimp, because of the bait snatchers down on the bottom.
