Past week fishing trips aboard the Kingfisher - Bob Friemuth and friends did well catching some nice stripers on live bait then scored big on the hordes of blues in the race this past Saturday.

Heat and Sun and Rain and Thunderstorms this week.... - Friday's trip was with two Mikes from Westchester NY: Michael Herman of New Rochelle and Dr. Michael Blechman of Edgemont. The weather was perfect, and so was the fishing, with an impressive catch of blues up to 12 pounds.

Hot, Hot, Hot...and the Blues Love It! - On Saturday we sailed with Karl Correnti and his teenage daughter--and two other guests. We made our way into the middle of the Sound, chunking for bluefish, catching half a dozen up to 10 pounds, with a by-catch of porgies up to 14.
