Spring weather can blow you out so use the time to get ready! - Over the next few days that winds are going to howl. I'll be fishing, changing the plan to go with the winds. That's the good thing about fishing with a local, we have lot's of places to go even on the days when the wind is howling.

Pass still on fire, spanish here and cobia starting to show up. - Spent most of the day Saturday scouring the beach for cobia. A few have been trickling through and being caught. One over 60lbs. last week and a few good fish over the weekend. We spent most of the day looking but didn't see a fish. We have some more...

Spring is here, the fishing is great and getting better. - Spring is here and the fishing is great. The pass is full of giant reds, sheeps and black drum. In the next few weeks the spanish will show up thick and the cobia are already here.

Mr. "Ultralight" goes to the pass. - One of my best and longest clients had to break out the four and six pound test and get him some of that action in the pass. First up, 20lb. pound red on 6lb.

Then he proceeded to fill the box with sheeps.

Connor McQaugg has a big day! - Can't help it...have to keep going back to the pass as long as the really BIG bite is going on. Day one for Connor was good but day two was what it was all about. Big sheeps in the pass on live shrimp....caught a box full.

Jordan gets a big'un. - Shawn Martin brought his son, Jordan, to Panama City for a reason. He heard, or read my reports, that they could catch some big redfish....no fairy tales here....all the truth.
I would imagine the first fish Jordan boated was about 20lbs. I work more...
