Report for Long Island Sound - Tuesday we sailed with Robert Remin of White Plains and his brother and nephew. The winds were with us again, but after a slow start we found bluefish off of Westport and did well with top-water action, tallying more than a dozen blues 4-6 pounds.

Report for Long Island Sound - We sailed Friday morning with Michael Tardella of Danbury, along with three of his softball team buddies. They got bluefish up to 13 pounds and some schoolie bass. We also saw lots of blues on the surface off of Westport, hitting peanut bunker.

New Haven Harbor, Guilford & Stratford - The past week things have started to heat up. Pretty much anywhere you go along the coast line you can find plenty of surface action. Blues have been feeding heavy on peanut bunker.
