Winter Fishing Chokoloskee/Everglades City - It has started out just like last year.
Red fishing is very good but must be fished on the outgoing because the water will be clear for site fishing.
The Big Trout are here in numbers but the tarpon are so spotty it's not worth looking for them.

Inshore bites but nearshore is getting hot - Charters on Sat/Sun produced jackcrap (new word) but nearshore trolling was surprisingly productive. Boca Grande's stacked with trout and reds! - The weather this January has been just gorgeous with the exception of a few cold days.
