Finally, typical Fl. weather - April has finally arrived, and the winter clothes are stashed away until next year.
Calmer days, clean water, and hungry fish.

Warmer weather brings active fish - We finally got a taste of spring weather the first week of March. Finally, no more long underware and heavy winter jackets. Calm winds and clear water has made fly fishing superb.

Colder than usual - This has been a tough February to say the least. With colder than usual temperatures, it took a lot of work to find cooperative fish and sometimes could not.

Coming back strong! - There is so much hype about the fish kill it is driving me crazy. All I hear is doom and gloom from so many. The truth of the matter is that the fish are here, they are just vacationing in new areas.

Fishing on the rebound already! - I just can't believe how good of a day we had fishing today! As if nothing happened last week with the major cold front and the fish kill.
It just really proved to me how rich this area is in fish.

The cold is killing us! - This is probably one of the toughest reports I hopefully will ever post.
Due to the duration of cold nights, we have had a MASSIVE fish kill! HUNDREDS of dead snook can be seen floating everywhere! This makes me sick to my stomach.

Frozen Florida - This winter has come and hit us like ton of ice! Gone from the upper 70's to the low 40's the entire week. Native Floridians are not to good in this weather. I have been dressing up in so many layers for the morning ride, I look like a South Park cha more...

Lots of options. - Well the weather has held out quite well so far, even though the temps are a little higher than average.
Fishing has been pretty good, and with the good weather it gives you lots of options. Snook fishing has been really good. Some real big snook more...

Transition time - Well the winter is trying to start, cooler air temps have made fishing very comfortable. A light breeze has been consistent, but beautiful conditions to fish anywhere you care, inside or out.
