Tarpon Jumping but not Feeding - On May 6 I took James out from Naples. We were looking for tarpon and saw four jumping offshore, but could not get them to feed.

Tiger Shark Landed - Early morning fishing was good on the 14th. Winds were calm and offshore the water was clear. Water temperature remains warm at around 78- 80 degrees.

Spring winds are blowing - Well the typical spring winds of March have been here making conditions tough! We'll get a couple nice days, watch the water temp rise as far as 74 and tarpon fever kicks in. They pop up and just when you think its ready to start the front comes and more...

No consistency in the 10K, "hot and cold"! - The weather this spring has been from hot summer like conditions, back to blustery winter conditions. One day the fishing is red hot, finding fish at every stop willing to comply to every technique. Next day similar conditions, not a fish to be found more...

Unusally warm February - Well this February will be one to remember! This year the temeratures have been on the average 10 - 15 degrees warmer than the ordinary.
In a way it made things tough at times, the fish did not know where they should be. The warmer water made sigh more...
